Ingredients:
Leftover or fresh chapatis or rotis - 2
Vegetables( Carrot/beans/capsicum/onions/cabbage) - julienne(chopped lengthwise) about a cup
Soya Sauce - 1/2 teaspoon
Tomato sauce - 1 teaspoon
Chilli sauce - 1 teaspoon
oil/butter - little for frying
Method:
1)Chop up your chapatis/rotis lengthwise as shown .It can be done with a sharp kitchen knife or even a pair of scissors.In a pan , add a teaspoon of oil and fry the chapati for 2 minutes till slightly browned and crisp.Keep aside.
2)Add oil to the pan and saute the vegetable on a high flame for a few minutes till they are semi cooked and crisp.Add the sauces at this point and add a pinch of salt if you desire.
3)Add the chapati bits and toss well and serve immediately with ketchup or plain.
Notes:
- You can skip the step of frying the chapatis initially too but it will not be as tasty.
- Serve hot else it tends to lose its taste.
- Innovate with different vegetables and sauces of your choice.
