
It's the complaint of almost every parent of their child not eating their vegetables. So everyday is a challenge in making your kids eat their daily quota of veggies. The recipe of stuffed peas tikki is sure to be lip smacking and healthy and leave them asking for more. The recipe is making tikki using peas and stuffed with potatoes and nuts. You could use paneer instead of potatoes or even khova to give an assorted sweet savoury taste. It will definitely be one of the tastiest tikki you've eaten.

Ingredients :
Green Peas - 1 cup
Potato -1 cooked and mashed
Nuts roasted (cashews,almonds etc ) - a tablespoon
Besan - 2 tablespoons
Coriander leaves - a handful
Jeera - 1 teaspoon
Asafoetida - 1 pinch
Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 teaspoon
Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
Chaat masala - 1 teaspoon
Salt - as required
Oil for frying - if shallow frying
1) Add some oil in a pan. On heating add the Jeera, asafoetida and the Green Peas. Fry till the peas are slightly brown and cook them adding a little water and salt.
2)In a bowl, mix the mashed potatoes, chaat masala and a little salt and pepper. Keep aside.
3)Coarsely grind the green peas and coriander and add besan,garam masala,ginger garlic paste and salt and mix well.If spicy flavour is required you can add some green chilli paste.4)Now take the peas mixture, stuff it with the potatoes and nuts and shallow fry in oil or grill in the oven for tasty healthy tikkis.
